New Inspector Training Courses are designed for new Inspectors who have already observed or participated in GMP inspections and who would like to develop inspection skills necessary to assess compliance of manufacturers against the PIC/S GMP Guide. Theses courses, initiated and developed by Ireland / HPRA, are open to Inspectors from PIC/S Participating Authorities and non-Member Authorities.

This course is one of the most successful training activities of PIC/S for new Inspectors. It offers them the opportunity to develop the inspection skills necessary to assess compliance of manufacturers against the PIC/S GMP Guide through presentations and case-studies.
The course comprises approx. 15 modules covering key GMP areas for new inspections such as general inspection skills; inspection preparation; facility lay-out and design; supply chain; warehouse & dispensary; tablets, capsules & powders; liquids; creams & ointments; cleaning validation; utilities; autoclaves; garbing; asceptic manufacturing; microbiology laboratories; chemistry laboratories & QRM.
Training Course for New Inspectors are only open to Inspectors from PIC/S Participating Authorities, (Pre-)Applicants, Partners and Non-Member National Medicines Regulatory Authorities. The events are not open to Industry.
